Night Shift

JOB DETAILS

Beds: 22
Small unit, close-knit group. Well established RNs on the unit
Minimum Years of Experience required? 2 years, postpartum or LDRP experience accepted
Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes
Post-vaginal and c-section women, couplet care with mom + newborns
RN: 1:3 couplets, 1:2 if multiple births
BLS, NRP
Fundal massage, newborn care including heel sticks, 24h testing, NAS scoring, lactation support, Pitocin drips, IV starts
Mag drips preferred; L&D RNs will initiate the drip
EPIC experience is required
CNA – 1 on the unit
LPNs who sometimes take patients, sometimes just help with relief/breaks
HUC: 24/7
Charge nurse – typically does not take patients
Phlebotomy
RT 24/7?
Hospitalist 24/7
Intensivist 24/7
Pediatrician and neonatologist available 24/7, as well as NNP
EMR: EPIC - required
IV Pump: Alaris
Med dispensing: Pyxis
Panda warmers if needed
Could float to L&D for LDRP patients only

Registered Nurse, LD
Experience: 2 years
SSN Required
DOB Required
References: 1 Reference in entire work history

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

1st time traveler ok
if not licensed ok for pending WA RN license in process, please provide date of application
