Travel RN-Endoscopy jobs in Suffolk, VA offer you the chance to work in a dynamic endoscopy department at the facility. The department uses advanced endoscopic technology, including scopes with cameras for procedures like colonoscopy and upper gastrointestinal endoscopy. You will work alongside board-certified gastroenterologists and licensed nursing staff, providing care for patients with digestive health needs such as gastritis, ulcers, tumors, Crohn's disease, and ulcerative colitis.

To qualify, you should have experience in endoscopy procedures, strong skills in patient assessment, and the ability to work with state-of-the-art computers, scopes, and cameras. Board certification in gastroenterology nursing is recommended, and you should be comfortable educating patients about their disorders and treatment options. Experience with colorectal cancer screening protocols is valuable, as these are routinely performed for patients over 50 or those with a family history of colorectal cancer.
